   Hello,

is there a way to tell obnam mount --to ~/mountpoint to only mount the
last, say, 20 days, or so?

I had to restore a document from a generation from before 09 October,
and it took obnam hours to mount the current 703 generations. It works
(for which I'm thankful), but perhaps I'm overlooking a switch...

Or perhaps, can the obnam.log on the client add the generation number on
the server? That way I can grep the log to find a "recent' generation
   number.

Obnam - used to create daily backups here for just over 2 years. I don't
   restore daily :-)

   Nope, there isn't. Sorry.

I'm afraid there is no switch for that. Obnam is just slow with a
large number of generations, I'm afraid.

That would certainly be possible to do, but I'd like to see someone
   else make the patch.
